Magnificient!
My wife and I stayed one night in Haines in July as part of a 2 weeks of flying/ferrying around Southeast Alaska. Specifically, we were in Haines to visit Kroschell Films. Sue was absolutely amazing! She couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. It felt like we were staying with an old friend that we've known for years. Her recommendation of a car rental from the Lynn View Lodge was great and worked out perfectly. The views from every window and the balcony were out of this world (especially when sitting in the relaxing hot tub). Sue asked us what we wanted for breakfast and we settled on her french toast with her homemade blueberry sauce and bacon. It was absolutely fabulous! After breakfast, her friend Neil (a magician) stopped by and provided with us some entertainment and great conversation. Looking back, we both wish that we would have stayed at least another night as this was one of our favorite memories of our trip.

Wow !
Tough to decide which is more amazing ; accomodations or host. ! Suzie maintains a beautiful bed and breakfast while making you feel like family. The view is UNBELIEVABLE, and the cooking and camaraderie can't be beat. We would go out of our way to book here again. The hot tub view is like nothing ever experienced.

Don't miss this unbelievable opportunity when staying in Haines, AK
This was the best vacation experience of a lifetime! Million dollar views and host extraordinaire! Susie picked us up and returned us to the dock for the Fast Ferry ride to Juneau. Sue gave us a tour of Haines, AK including all of the history behind it. Her home is very clean, well kept and beautifully decorated. She supplies all the special touches one could admire with fresh linens, towels, robes, any & all the complements. If she doesn't have it, pretty sure she'll run to town and get it for you!
On our second day, we went on an adventure with Susie that may be a once in a lifetime experience. Friends of friends of friends created a magical reunion in the back woods of AK. Haines, AK is surely a slice of heaven and the Cliffhanger Bed and Breakfast is the best accommodations and view by far.
Sue is friendliest, host I have ever experienced and look forward to a long lasting friend relationship. So thankful for all she did for us and hope to see her in Colorado someday soon.

Wonderful B& B
Susie is a generous hostess, and has a lovely home...with the best views In Haines.
A hot tub on the deck outside, where you can sit and watch the sun go down, super comfy bedrooms, with the extras .
Breakfasts were fresh, prepared and served each morning.
We were able to make ourselves a cup of tea when we wished.
Susie assisted in organising our flights over the Glacier National Park, fishing, and came with us for a walk through the rain forest.
Haines is a special place for a holiday, made even more so by Susie.

Best B&B Ever!
Unfortunately we only had one night at Cliffhanger; our room and the house were very comfortable, and the setting above the town and harbor was remarkable. Even though we had rain, the view was still wonderful. Susie is such a warm and friendly person we hated to say goodbye after a delicious breakfast of French toast and bacon ( my favorite!) . We’d love to come back sometime. Thank you Susie!
